QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience MEPF construction.
- Familiar with international standards, expert in Quantity take off, good experience in Light control
system, Fire alarm system, CCTV, Access Controls, Nurse system, Medium voltage switch gears, cost
estimation and manpower estimation.
- Has a very good knowledge in Microsoft excel, word, and A-CAD.
- Knowledge of applicable industry standards such as IEC, BS, ISO, API, NFPA, UL, etc.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Executes inspections on materials, equipment and construction/installation activities on site.
- Issues the relevant Quality Records and, prepare non-conformances reports when applicable.
- Checks cable laying and cable identification.
- Performs all relevant loop checks, updates as built drawings and performs punch-listing operations.
- Checks power transformers, switchboard, accumulator battery, sockets outlet, lighting system.
- Performs visual inspections, dimensional test, checks rating and material for connection.
- Performs tests of continuity, insulation resistance.
- Calibrates safety valves and instruments.
- Checks installation of instruments and performs tests functional instruments.
- Checks pneumatic signal connection and checks fiber optic cable.
- Performs test communication functionalities.
- Witness the tests, controls and inspections carried out.
- Prepare, submit and archive the requests for inspections.
- Coordinate with the Contractor for inspections and prepare 2 weeks look ahead plans.
- Inspect and ensure adequate storage of materials and equipment.
