Qualifications:

• Proven working experience as Procurement Manager or Head of Procurement.
• Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques.
• In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing and negotiation terms.
• Proven experience in managing supply chain operations.
• Bachelor’s degree

Job Description:

• Develop, lead, and execute cost-effective procurement strategies and activities consistent with requirements of the company.
• Follow and implement procurement policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Guide and lead Procurement Team
• Monitor stocks levels and prepare orders as needed and check stock levels.
• Review and compare prices and approve products to be purchased.
• Liaise with freight forwarders for shipping cargo on a timely manner.
• Manage necessary documentation for shipping from the point of order until the goods are in warehouse.
• Pass supplier invoices to accounts departments with no delays for timely payments for suppliers.
• Adhere to relevant Government health and safety laws.
