QUALIFICATIONS:

• Medical Degree approved by the Medical Board of the country of origin.
• Registration with the Medical Board of country of origin.
• Must have at least 3 to 4 years post graduate practical general practitioner experience.
• Experience in a direct care clinic or/and hospital setting.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Examine, diagnose, and treat patients for a variety of common ailments.
• Plan and provide treatment in the form of medicines and therapies and refer them to specialist
  providers if necessary.
• Practice active listening and excellent communication skills with patients, their families, and all staff,
  addressing patient concerns as the highest priority.
• Document treatments, including ongoing progress notes and test results.
• Maintain patient history and communicate relevant medical records to specialists as needed.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding medical conditions and their treatment options as well as preventative care strategies of nutrition, exercise and hygiene.
• Order laboratory tests such as white blood cell count, blood sugar and × rays and interpret test results.
• The General Practitioner must be able to do all general medical duties as per their medical training in line with registration license under the Medical Board.
• Provide nonsurgical medical care for a wide range of health issues.
• Mostly serving the adult and pediatric population, evaluate patients through exams and tests and
  diagnose conditions such as diseases or injuries.
• Provide treatment or referrals to an appropriate medical specialist.
• General practitioners prescribe medications and therapies as well as provide patients with information on preventative healthcare, including proper diet and exercise.
• Assist in the efficient and effective operation of all the clinics.
• Liaise with Pharmacy Manager and report to Chief Pharmacist and General Manager
