Qualifications:
- Significant experience in splicing and termination of FO cables (including submarine)
- FOA/CFOT or BICSI certificate is a plus
- Risk Assessment/PTW/AWS/COMPEX/IECE× training is a plus
Job Description:
- Execute all electrical construction activities in Yard and offshore
- Conducts site survey for FO/Telecom cable route and hub sites as preventive maintenance
- Read and interpret network diagram and detailed related instructions
- Carry on efficiently the preparation, splicing (fusion) and termination of FO/telecom cables,
troubleshoot and repair noncompliance
- Interpret engineering drawings like FO/Telecom location layout drawing etc.
- Ensure FO cable termination and splicing are carried according to project or international standards
- Carry out all FO/Telecom installation works
