Department: ENGINEERING
To lead, monitor, repair and general maintenance of Company Properties, Fish Factory equipment and machinery as well as maintenance of Cold storages and freezers.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

• 1. Research and submit the new machinery recommendation to management
• 2. Attend all breakdowns and solve the issues in time
• 3. Solve refrigeration issues for all chillers, cold storages and blast freezers
• 4. Ensure all processing and packing machineries and equipment are in operational condition in fish factory
• 5. Ensure repairs and maintenance are carried out promptly according to the plan schedule and requirement
• 6. Make plan for the maintains and repair schedule to ensure all machinery, equipment, cold storages, chillers and blast freezers in good condition
• 7. Maximum control the repairs and maintenance cost
• 8. Receiving of faulty items for repair
• 9. Maintaining of engineering stock cards
• 10. Report of all breakdowns and parts used in repair and maintenance
• 11. Temperature recording and analysis of cold storages and freezers in good function
• 12. Stock taken and reconciliation of parts
• 13. Order of spare parts according to the repair and maintenance requirement

Pursuit of a program to develop and keep improving downtime of the machinery:

• 1. Department focused, Factory Focused, .
• 2. Negotiating the terms of an agreement with parts suppliers
• 3. Making accurate, cost calculations.
• 4. Leading, guiding and training the engineering department staffs
• 5. Documentation

Core Responsibilities:

• 1. Order of spares parts and receiving of parts
• 2. Supervise and receive all parts supplier documents
• 3. Recording of temperature for cold storages, chillers, blast freezer and freezer containers
• 4. Reduce downtime of machines
• 5. Ensure all equipment and machines in factory are of working condition
• 6. Coordinate with mechanical equipment operators and provide the guidance to the operators
• 7. Repairs to factory equipment and machinery is carried on time to meet the smooth fish production
• 8. Reconciling of stored spare part inventory with that of physical stock take
• 9. Analyse data to anticipate future needs
• 10. Evaluate suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals and maintain trust relationships
• 11.Collaborate with factory production employees and other staff to ensure business goals are met
• 12. Reviewing your department performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
• 13. Ensure factory machinery and equipment are always up to date and conducive of factory operations
• 14. Provide professional training to the staffs for better skills of repair and maintenance works

FORMAL QUALIFICATION AND TRAINING:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical
• Engineering or Electronics or from a recognized institution or equivalent with 10 years of hands-on work experiences specially in seafood processing factory.
• Have extensive years of experiences in engineering field specifically in seafood processing industry with a commercial leaning, a track record of Repair and maintenance.
• Have a good experience and ability to determine the issues of equipment and machineries and repairs works done by him alone.
