QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to learn operating principles and nomenclature of all assigned equipment.
- Must be flexible and able to perform multiple activities.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work for extended hours to support manufacturing operations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor and adjust production bottling equipment for quality and productivity, following current good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.
- Make necessary operating adjustments on production equipment to maintain product specifications.
- Comply with lean manufacturing principals and work with team leader and supervisors to implement best practices in the manufacturing process.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems during breakdown.
- Work with engineers and management with problem solving production issues.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Provide production report and breakdown report to the following production team and shift
supervisors.
- Documentation, record keeping, and apply thorough communication with co-workers, supervisors, and other production crews.
- Ensures that work areas are clean, organized, and adhere to applicable safety rules at all times.
- Be prepared to cross train and be utilized in other aspects on the production floor.
